Scoop of practice
I am super grateful to have stumbled across these lectures, as an Registered Massage Therapist finding lectures or treatment techniques that keep me interested in learning gets harder and harder. I personally feel that the Base is super important in my life and work hard to keep my family healthy, but when I put my work hat on it is out of my scoop of practice to recommend these things to my patients. Besides recommending they drink extra water after their massage and or assigning strength or stretching exercises I can not suggest diet or supplement changes. I recently met a young lady that has lost 10years of her life to CRPS and her pain and her story is sticking with me, especially because of what I am learning. Do you have any suggestions on how I can refer her or help her get some resemblance of her life back?
Good Morning Laura,
Thanks for your comment and question. We are always appreciative of feedback and we are happy to hear that you are finding the Course useful both personally and professionally.
As noted in the Course, the presentation of material is designed for laypeople as well as health care professionals. In our attempt to address “scope of practice” issues that might arise with certain professions, we created the Monthly Pass. The Monthly Pass allows full access to the material at a reasonable cost for people who do not require the Continuing Education component. Through beta-testing with a variety of people with absolutely no background in sciences or health care, we have found 2-3 months is plenty of time for them to move through the material, understand it and make substantive changes.
Thanks again for the feedback. Hope you have a great day!
